Add categorization

I think a standardized categorization scheme would be beneficial. I realize there is a tags attribute on Project, but I think some kind of predefined taxonomy (stimulus controllers, knowledge base, ...) would help filtering data quickly as it grows.

I'd like to see how far we can get with tags before we add this. Think of it as Google vs Yahoo back in the day and consider who won that war.

Partially concur, though I think the analogy is incorrect. Google vs Yahoo are search engines, this is a registry, think Docker Hub or an App Store.

I honestly think some very broad categories („resource“ vs „library“ vs „tool“, ...) wouldn’t hurt and open up the possibility for dynamic landing pages
