HEIF processing error

We recently (As of April 17th) started seeing the above error (Error: HEIF processing error) on some images we try to convert to jpeg using heic-to. Trying to reach out to see if this is a known issue. Unfortunately, I cannot share the image itself because it has personal information of users.

There is not much other information on the error. Just that one message. Are there any ways/steps to verify if this is image specific issue?

Unfortunately, I cannot share the image because it is a client's personal ID.

Can you see a "Decoding image failed" error along with the "Error: HEIF processing error"? If it is, you may can reason about it with the message and code of that error from libheif.

I do not see "Decoding image failed" error. I just see "Error: HIEF processing error". In case this helps, I was able to open the file using preview app in Windows. I was also able to convert the image to jpeg using another library (.net/c#) called imagemagick. So, I don't think the image was corrupted.

If it will be hard for you to troubleshoot without the actual image, please go ahead and close the issue. I can open a new one if I can find an image that causes this error and if I can share that image.
