Chip Creation/Cursor issues

This report is based on what is currently in master. Dragging the cursor to the middle of an unchipped word causes unpredictable issues, disappearing chips, and unresponsive keyboard.

@neil-power-hs I know you all are planning on a new release soon. May want to look into this issue beforehand as it is currently a bug in the release.

@tylerjroach We're looking into this, so this might happen because of how chips are identified using a character that is not typeable, so if for some reason the cursor enters into the chip, then this could happen. Thanks and we will see what we can do about it.
