Disable new version dialog for pre-releases

Describe the bug Please disable this dialog for pre-releases. I use Homebrew to update my apps, and this version isn't available for me. Also, this dialog pops up every time I open the app, not just once.

To Reproduce Start the app on the Mac

Expected behavior Don't show the dialog for pre-releases Maybe only show once per newer version?
