Restored iPhone, reinstalled iOS companion app, now error in push messages
Model Name: iPhone 11 Software Version: 15.3.1 App version: 2022.2 (2022.345)
Home Assistant Core Version 2022.2.9
Describe the bug I restored my iPhone and reinstalled the companion app. Now, I'm not getting any push messages. Error in the core log shows:
Unable to find notify service for webhook ID
When looking into the settings of the companion app in Notification settings (notificatie instellingen), the Push ID is not registered. When I tap "restore" (herstel) I get an error:
De bewerking kan niet worden voltooid. Failed to checkin before token registration
Mobile_app notify permission is granted (Toestemming Ingeschakeld)
I tried to delete the app from my phone, remove my device from the Integration "Mobile app". I then reinstalled the companion app, but that does not solve the problem.
In the eventlog of the companion app is see something like
Webhook failed with status 404
So I'm in the dark now :)
Sounds like you're blocking Firebase from connecting - likely AdGuard or Pi-hole or an ad-blocking VPN. This is required for push so you'll need to add it to an allow list.
The webhook 404ing should cause the app to re-register the integration. Did it?
Hi @zacwest
Thank you for replying. I indeed seem to block Firebase in AdGuard. I removed the blocking rule, but now the debug log in the app errrors in:
Webhook failed with status code 410
Core log:

I removed the app, removed it from the integration and reinstalled it again, before trying. Then it showed up in the integration again.
Local push is disabled too in the app...
Well, I'm a bit further. I completely disabled AdGuard before registering the app. That didn't seem to help much. But when I changed the HA server IP to the HA server DNS name in the settings of the companion app, I seem to get it working :)
I will debug a bit more.
Is this still an issue with latest versions of app and core? Feel free to reopen if needed
