Local Option section confusing and doesn't mention the the unofficial addon/integration(s)
Feedback
I found the "Local API Option" section really confusing. Is it suggesting I buy a weather station from Ecowitt instead? Or buy a monitor from that company? What's a "PWS"?
Also, I discovered that there is a local option for ambient station:
- https://ambientweather.com/faqs/question/view/id/1857/
- https://github.com/tlskinneriv/awnet_local
Since the local api seems to be an official local api, I am also surprised to see it supported only in a custom integration. How do things get like that get adopted into the core?
I am currently researching which weather station to buy, and have no previous experience with weather stations. I want to make sure I get something that works locally and isn't just cloud based.

Hey there @bachya, mind taking a look at this feedback as it has been labeled with an integration (ambient_station) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!
