Min/Max documentation lacking info on time periods

Open jgclark opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Feedback

As far as I can see the Min/Max documentation doesn't say what time period the min/max (etc.) is calculated over. I'm guessing it's over all available data points for the sensor?

I'm hoping that there's a simple way of getting min and max for the current day or week. But there's no hint about this either.

Thanks!

Hey there @fabaff, mind taking a look at this feedback as it has been labeled with an integration (min_max) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks! (message by CodeOwnersMention)

How long of a time period is used for the Max of a sensor?

Min/Max shows only the ACTUAL min or max of a SET of sensors. If you'd like HISTORIC min/max/... of ONE sensor you will succeed with "statistics" integration
