  • Based on a community custom card which has been requested as a full card here: https://github.com/GeorgeSG/lovelace-time-picker-card
  • Keep the picker a separate component which can be reused later potentially as a card
• Input based on number feature(s)?

just commented in the 2025.9 beta on Discord:

would be great if we could transform this Tile card:

into a tile with the selectors for time like this

which would comply nicely with the 2 states toggle of eg a light

Another consideration is to allow per entity (or per card) configuration of 12 / 24h time. When a time entity is used for a time which is relative rather than wall time, only a 24h display makes sense, but the only other alternative is to use a number entity, which leads to an awkward UI if the underlying time has second or even minute resolution.

Editing of time is still missing from any default cards as far as I can see. Only the More info card works (and that does not allow customizing to force 24h display, it only follows user settings which is not useful if the time to be set is relative rather than wall time)
