Unable to power off washing-machine BOSH

The problem

the system recognizes when the washing machine is on and is in operation to when I try to turn it off it gives me error and fails to execute the command

Me too. Actually, the dishwasher works flawlessly, whereas the washing machine not. Whenever there is a program already active, I can see the machine is "On", but I cannot change it, nor do something else (even when there is no program I cannot use it). Any idea?

This issue indeed remains with the latest version HA2024.8

Controls Power Switch does not work Child Lock does not work No programs can be selected/activated

Sensors Door only works when the machine is turned on (dishwasher this works always) Duration is unavailable Operation State seems to work Program Progress works but not does not reset to 0% after finished

Recently bought a new smart dishwasher which works perfectly, so the integration work but the issue seem specific for the washing machine.

This issue might be a lack of feature on the appliance, as some appliances does not support turning off. You can see in this link to the API documentation which appliances supports Turning on, off, and stand-by. And it looks like washers does not support neither turning off or set into stand-by mode...

Just curious, are you able to turn it on and off from the Home Connect app?

This seems to be a duplicate of #113435. If you still have these problems please report back in that issue with debug logs and diagnostics after updating to the latest version of Home Assistant.
