The problem

I seem to have this error in the log, since updating wled to the latest 14b release.

if i change preset, i get the same error. The led strip successfully changes to the correct preset but it still returns an error. i checked http://wled-ip/edit and validated the code is utf-8.

same issue for me in multiple integrations (Glances, Shelly) caused randomly but not frequently (around once every few days):

It always comes together with this error in the log:

Same error here :( It appears only when changing preset to different one (like from "Full" to "Night"). When setting to the same preset (Night -> Night) it does not happen. Preset is applied successfully but command returns error - breaking execution of my scripts. I've tested with curl http://.../json/state -d '{"ps": 2/3}' and it always return {"success": true} regardless if the preset is changed or not.

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. The JSON parser has been replaced in the latest version of the WLED library, shipped with the integration in Home Assistant 2024.8.0, which should fully address this issue.
