addon console+ssh cant be accessed if logged in using http://ip-address:8123

The problem

If accessing HA using the "usual" link http://homeassistant.local:8123 the addon console+ssh can be launched and used.

But if using http://ip-address:8123 everything seems all right except if hitting the console tab nothing happens.

Closing a previous opened console using "exit" and even restarting HA and trying with the ip-address.. still renders the console+ssh button unusable. It CAN be clicked but nothing happens.

The reason WHY i tried the IP as an address: ALL entities were suddenly GONE in the setting-entities window. While they still showed up in the various cards and in the developers page I did not figure out what to do to get them back in the settings-page. FULL restart did not help either, even worse also the settings-device tab was empty! While all the services were still running and their entities showed up in all the used cards.. So i tried HA's ip address and surprise: after logging in the devices and entities showed up again. Strange..
