Open konpyl opened this issue 2 years ago • 20 comments

The problem

Description

When attempting to set the brightness of the Air Purifier 4 PRO (zhimi.airp.vb4) to "Bright," the brightness erroneously switches to the "Off" state.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Turn on the Air Purifier 4 PRO (zhimi.airp.vb4)
  2. Set the brightness to "Bright"
  3. Observe the brightness changing to the "Off" state instead of staying at "Bright"

Expected Behavior

When setting the brightness to "Bright," the device should maintain that level and not switch to the "Off" state.

Actual Behavior

The device's brightness switches to the "Off" state when trying to set it to "Bright."

I have the same issue. In the Xiaomi Home app there is no "Bright" option, only Off/Dim/On. Is perhaps the phrasing of the command being sent wrong?

I can confirm. The device rejects Bright state and switches to Off. I tried sending On via service but as this is a select entity, this doesn't work.

Hi, I can confirm, that nothing has changed. Switching to "Bright" state results in turning off the display of purifier.
