Tibber integration: Could not find consumption data. (new tibber customer, not using pulse yet)

Open rolandsteinmeyer opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

The problem

I have a new account with tibber. But it will take some more weeks for the transition from my current energy provider to finish. Also have not received tibber pulse yet. Currently I am using the integration only to see the current tibber price. Since tibber does not know my consumption yet, there is no cunsumption data to fetch. tibber integration should not spam the log every time the tibber api is accessed.

I am having the same situation. Currently trying to get the current price. The error I get is the following:

Logger: tibber.tibber_home
Source: components/tibber/sensor.py:387
First occurred: 11:46:44 AM (2 occurrences)
Last logged: 11:46:44 AM

Could not find currency.
Could not find price_unit.

I think you won't get that price unless you are already using the Pulse. Might have something to do with the contract you currently have (without pulse they are not charging you by an hourly rate).
