Yes please. There is an issue with this in the pydaikin repo and we'll need to add support for hum there first please add more info there.

Can you paste a few different outputs with different modes so we can figure out what to look for to identify that your device support mode=HUM (I would guess that b_shum is the key but we need more outputs).
Also, please paste a few different humidification targets.
@icovada do you like to have a look in implementing this in pydaikin?
ohhh a humidifier, interesting!

Can I help you more?
Hi! Any news on this? I would really love to see more integration with this daikin model. it has LOTS of functionalities....which are not available on the integration...
Hi,
โDaikin ACโ integration is gradually becoming obsolete, at least for the new โCโ type Wifi interfaces. No more way to communicate locally. You must now go through the โDaikin Onectaโ integration for these machines, which is done via a Daikin API. It also works with older models (i have so). The future of Daikin is Onecta. They are working hard on this interface. Requests like http://youraddress/aircon/get_model_info no longer give anything. Why persist. I automate my air conditioning according to the weather which also comes from the Internet. I don't have a standalone weather station and I don't want one. So, internet, not internet, what is the problem?
Try this new integration (onecta). It gives new information including for B models. Note that even Onecta Android does not display the humidity level for model B (but ok for C). However, dehumidification works well on both models. But no adjustment just on/off. No settings !
Yours truly.

Hi Everyone, the humidification function still does not show and instead it displays as Heat/Cool. Can someone please look at that? I appreciate this integration! Thank you!

"Heat/Cool" mode is not the humidification function that is missing but the AUTO mode that heat or cool to reach the setpoint temperature.
