Enphase integration no longer working

The problem

Seems that Enphase envoy has added as an authentication method a Token that need to be downloaded from their page time to time, this token is not part of the integration configuration where it only request IP, User and Password. for this reason, the integration is not connecting. This was happening in the stable version and I´ve included in my homeassistant the beta versions as well to check if this has been identified, but it still fails.

Hi All, I got my envoy 2 weeks ago and I was super interested in the idea of integrating it to my Home assistant as well, but I found out the same error. If I can do something for testing let me know.

Hi, thanks for the answer, my envoy firmware is D7.0.88.

I think the problem is that with this firmware, envoy is requesting a tocken when you connect to it via https://envoy.local/ and that token need to be generated via other website.

I´m using the integration and when i enter the device and password, it just say that "failed to connect"

I can image your stuck. For me it's downtime waiting to happen when my firmware is upgraded. I got from the documentation that they improved security: The security infrastructure for accessing IQ Gateways using local APIs has been upgraded. The system now uses a token-based authentication mechanism to allow access for local data instead of a username/password combination. Same issue. Super stoked to connect it; just got my system activated this morning and nothing works. I assume it's this new token change or something. Any change of a HomeAssistant resolution?

Good idea, I´ve been reading it, and I managed to install the Integration via HACS, after restarting HomeAssistant I got it working, but at the moment to enter the credentials it doesn´t work yet. I´ve tested several things so far... and keep trying combinations during some free time 🙁

Mine was working fine until I upgraded to 2023.2.5 earlier today. I deleted the integration and re-added it because there is no way to reconfigure. I tried u/n: envoy pw: blank and checked "use enlighten" - got "Failed to Connect". Then I tried my enphase username and password and checked "use enlighten" and got "Unexpected error"

I really really want to try the Enphase Envoy DEV workaround. Just installed HACS. Clicked on HACS > Integrations > Explore & Download repositories > Search: 'Enphase' and 'Envoy', but no results. What am I doing wrong??

you have proberbly upgrade the firmware of your gateway? The firmware from7.xx does not work anymore with the current intergration of HA.
