Homematic HmIP-eTRV-B-2 R4M not detected as entity

The problem

The newer Homematic HmIP-eTRV-B-2 R4M Thermostats are not showing up in Home Assistant. The normal HmIP-eTRV-B thermostats are fine.

Same here: HmIP-eTRV-B-2 R4M is not detected by HA.

The backend library for the Homematic integration is not being maintained anymore. Therefore it won't receive support for more devices.

If you want control for these devices, please check out the new Homematic integration, which is available as a custom component.

So, Home Assistant is basically dead for Homematic IP users with cloud based access (AP instead of ccu)? That's a real pity!

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates.
