Issues with Gledopto GL-MC-001 (2022.8)

The problem

After upgrading to 2022.8 I noticed that my Gledopto GL-MC-001 don't function correctly anymore. If I turn them on, HA says they are off most of the time, if I try to change the color, it doesn't actually change, and if I try to turn it off, it starts blinking for a while then turns off. These strips work fine on 2022.6 and I think they were fine on 2022.7 as well.

Additional information

My whole zigbee network feels off these past few releases. I have some lights that will randomly turn on, but these light strips are by far the most broken that I've noticed. I have a couple of these and they both have the same behavior. I also have some GL-MC-001P strips that seem to behave a little better, but they're still being funky. And lastly, I have an aqara door sensor that seems to have fallen off the network and I can't get it back.

ok I was able to find it using the zha-network-card. It is the same model as the other one having the issue and is also having the same issues. Will work on getting the debug log using the following.

Also to note. I shut down my HA for about 30 mins yesterday. Once I turned it back on, my zigbee network was great. Everything was responsive, and worked correctly. Tonight I got home and it was a mess again. Lights not reporting correctly, not responsive, etc. it’s almost like the network “heals” itself over time to a worse almost unusable state. It’s great when it’s first up then learns bad routes or something. I’ve taken out any new nodes that could have been potential causes so I’m not sure what could be happening. I’m debating rolling back to 2022.6.

The code can’t impact routing at all. It’s completely handled by the stack itself.

You may be having issues from traffic floods in the current HA release. We have a fix that will be in the next release. Something that was supposed to happen every 24 hrs is happening every 24 minutes IIRC

that seems likely. I have had to take out all my zigbee stuff for the most part because the lights were just unusable, but I will put it all back once the update comes out.

I replaced my zzh with a convee 2, and upgraded. The strip is working fine now so it was probably 2022.8.4. Can’t confirm though
