Can't integrate Samsung Smart TV

Open jinsei8 opened this issue 11 months ago • 4 comments

The problem

Is this a VLAN issue? Can my QN55S90DAFXZA not connect to Home Assistant across VLANs?

Additionally, the device connection first time request does not appear on the TV, and the IP Remote feature is enabled in TV network settings.

I have other devices on a different VLAN that can screen / audio share, no issues.

Any help is appreciated!

Did you read the documentation? In particular, there is a section related to VLANs: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/samsungtv#subnetvlan
