Sleep Analyzer shown as gerneric "Withing" device
The problem
Hi there,
I have an issue with the Withing HA Integration. The oAuth connection seems to work, and 3 of my Withing devices looks correct integrated into HA (Thermo, BPM Connect, Body+), but the Sleep Analyzer is shown strangly generic as "Withing". Also, should there be an entitiy, where you can read out, If the Person on it, "is sleep" / "no sleep" state? Or are these sleep-entities list complete? sensor.withings_tiefschlaf sensor.withings_rem_schlaf sensor.withings_leichter_schlaf sensor.withings_zeit_zum_schlafen
Many thanks!

Hey there @joostlek, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (withings) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Withings creates devices for the physical devices, and creates 1 "service" for the users where the measurements belong to. As we get the measurements on user level and not on device level
Hi @joostlek,
thanks for reply. Then, i have to say, that my SleepAnalyzer is definitly not shown in HA. I can access it throw the withings-app, but it isn't shown in HA. Maybee the diagnostic file can bring up some claryfication on this.
thanks again!
What information can I provide to help improve this?
I have 5 withings devices (blood pressure, thermometer, two scales, and a sleep sensor) connected to my withings account, they show up in the withings app, and they show up in apple health.
In Home Assistant it created 5 "devices", 4 of them had names & models, one of them had neither a name nor a model. (well it shows up with "Withings" as its name and
The 4 named/modeled devices are a BPM monitor, a Smart Body Analyzer, an older scale, and a thermometer. Those devices have no sensors in them, only their battery levels.
The 5th device that Home Assistant sees, just called 'withings' with model 'unknown' has a collection of sensors that seem to be sourced from the physical devices (heart rate, body temperature, air temperature, etc).
BUT that 5th 'umbrella' device also includes things that must be from the sleep analyzer. It has duractions of 'deep sleep', 'light sleep', it has a binary sensor for 'snoring' (which it gave the entity id of 'sleep_analyzer_snoring') and strangely it only appeared after being connected to home assistant for several days, the 'in bed' occupancy sensor.
So like yes it is working, I can detect bed presence, but also it is a bit confusing that it doesn't show up as a device.

Hello @joostlek,
I've tried to integrate the withings plugin once again, but my sleep-analyzer is still missing.
Do you have any hints on this?
Many thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I have the newest Updates installed. Sleep Analyzer is still Not expicite shown as a Device on its own. But since, the Attribute is accessable, in the generic Section, its fine with me to close the issue.

latest version is installed. Sleep Analyzer still not displayed.
Hmm, I opened https://github.com/home-assistant/core/pull/150816 to be able to easily get some more data on what devices the HA integration actually receives, I hope that it will land in 2025.8.3

Same for me! I am new to HA, I can connect to my Withings account, A see three of my 4 devices and the generic "Withings" device. But not the sleep-analyzer.
I am running HA 2025.9.4 via docker image.
