Resuming the work on https://github.com/home-assistant/core/pull/114290 would solve it, but looks like many people attempted to deal with it and got quite a bit of friction.

We have never supported climate groups. The old-style groups still exists, they might support it (nothing has changed in those).

There have been quite a bunch of feature requests for adding group support for climate entities. Unfortunately, that hasn't resulted in a reality at this point yet.

That said. We use GitHub for tracking issues, not for providing support or tracking feature requests.
