Matter - Govee Air Purifier H7122 - can't fully control in HA but can via Apple Home
The problem
Hi
My air purifier does not have an auto sensor btw.
Via Matter in Home Assistant, the Air Purifier won't work via:
- Toggle On by the Fan Toggle (UI shows On, but fan doesn't respond)
- Toggle On Fan > Preset Mode > Low, Medium or High (UI shows On, but fan doesn't respond)
- Preset Mode > Low, Medium or High (UI shows selection, but fan doesn't respond)
Summary: I cannot control any fan speed apart from full blast speed - see below.
It will work partially via:
- Toggle On Fan > Preset Mode > Auto (causes fan to be at full blast)
- Preset Mode > Auto (causes fan to be at full blast)
- Toggle Off Fan
However, in Apple Home (via Matter) it can do the following correctly:
- Low Speed , Medium Speed, High Speed by the Slider (toggles On and sets to fan speed I chose)
- Turn Off

Hi, I have this same purifier. How did you connect it via Matter? I have it connected through goveelife then into HomeKit but curious if there is a better way. Thanks in advance!

This is issue is still relevant. I don‘t see the point in closing this issue if not one of the devs ever commented on it.
