Hey there @dmulcahey, @adminiuga, @puddly, @thejulianjes, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (zha) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

remove the device and then put ZHA in debug mode. Then pair the device again and once it is greyed out disable debug mode and attach the log that downloads here. Also include the diagnostic files for the integration and the device please. I am going to take a wild guess.... is it a Tuya device?
ok I have tried three different devices, one Girier smart switch, one colorock 30A smart switch and one Abuss smart socket. (see picture file) All do the same during installation.

can you please attach the diagnostic files for each device.
Where do I find the diagnostic files?

@maarten-emilsen try to check your CONFIGURATION.YAML and remove some settings from ZHA: I spent 2 months without my ZIGBEE network because CONBEE II was detected but NOT CONFIGURED. I fixed it with "#": I deactivated all the ZHA: section to make it work properly.
I hope it helps.
@WladyTee in my configfile I have one "move light to switch" nothing more. All my previously installed zigbee devices work as they should. it's adding new devices that don't work.
Thank you for engaging with my problems. I really appreciate it. I wish you a nice evening and a lovely week Maarten
Same here, with skyconnect dongle and Hassos. Start to configure, does not finish integration. Whatever you do.
same here. Sonoff Dongle P.
Same here with Sonoff Dongle P
I as well have difficulties to configure a device. Also I losing control of already configured one. My light switches (connected to mains and not on battery) started act weirdly. The command send to them is ok, I can turn them on and off, and ZHA seems to not get the ack and thinks the command execution failed. When I delete the device and try to re-add it it fails 90% of the time.
I use Skyconnect.
My ZHA network completely gone haywire, 70% of the devices show up as unavailable and can not even re-pair. For the sake of testing, I keep those devices marked as 'router' always on (mainly smart plugs) but nothing returns. This config was working flawlessly for the last 3 years without any mayor issue, it was a solid solution. This got worse and worse with the 2024.10.x HA. I'm truly disappointed. I see nothing usable in the debug log; switching channels / restoring backup does not makes a difference. Please advise what to look for or how to fix it. Using a HubZ Usb dongle with RP5/4GB.

Every time I restart the integration or homeassistant it looses the connection with all zigbee devices. The only solution I have found to regain control is to cut off the power to the house (HomeAssistant has a UPS). The problem I cannot solve is that I cannot add new devices to the zigbee network because even if I add them the process never seems to finish.. try powering down ac devices
@kbalint @ramondm-esp (and anyone else commenting) please enable ZHA debug logging, reload the integration, let it run for 15 minutes (and try controlling devices to generate traffic), and disable debug logging. This will download a debug log. Next, download diagnostics information for the ZHA integration.

@puddy thanks for reaching out. I'm attaching the log. In the beginning it's mainly Failed to deliver message: <sl_Status.ZIGBEE_DELIVERY_FAILED: 3074> (which is new for me), then I've tried resetting some sensors and adding back. The RP is in the same or the next room with these sensors. Out of 5, only 2 works (one had a depleted battery, that successfully came back). The dead battery and the still unavailable door sensors are Ikea made, and exactly the same type (same batch, bought all together)

There's an AP nearby (~in about 3m-s) it's on 2.4Ghz channel 11, the 5Ghz is on 36. There's another AP one level down on 2.4G channel 6, 5G channel 36. The Zigbee HUB is on channel 20.
The Zigbee HA integration has 30 devices (currently 20 unavailble), and there's another zigbee network provided by Ikea for the lightbulbs, that's 26 more zigbee devices (26 available) (I'm in the process of moving away from the ikea v1 gateway) - but at least that's rock solid.

ttached is my log.
At 9:17 am I recharged the integration and lost control over zigbee devices. I tried to operate any of the devices but none of them responded.
At 9:20 am I turned off the power at home and turned it back on (Homeassistant has a UPS). Control of devices is immediately regained
ZHA random lose Zigbee devices. Do not seem to be any Logic behind it. Turn off power to the device. After turn on power, the device comes back. This starts to be a big problem. I am going away for two months, and can not trust HA when I am away.
After upgrade to 2024.11 still same problem with adding new Zigbee devices to ZHA
ZHA still not working after one month. Now moving critical device to google Home. It works. To bad, I like what you have done with HA the last year. But when it do not work, I move to something that do work. I know I will not get all that is in HA. But stable work is more critical.
same issues here: Unable to add new disp to zigbee network (process never ends. detecting same disp again and again) and Loosing control over all zigbee disps after reloading integration (solvable only powering down the house)
Same issue in 2024.11.1…
@maarten-emilsen All of the devices you're having problems with are Tuya. From the logs, the Tuya devices join and then immediately leave.
If you can, downgrade back to 2024.9.x and see if they are able to stay joined to the network. Tuya devices unfortunately are not really normal Zigbee devices and many won't even stay on the network without special code for the specific device.

I am going away for two months next week. Do not have time to do something about this now. Sorry. I have moved critical things to google. And will probably move my Zigbee network to z2m when I get home. ZHA has been down two times last year. That do not work for me.
But. All devices, or same has been installed in ZHA before 2024.9. and have been working with HA. And most has been working for over one year. After upgrade to 2024.10 not able to get new devices into ZHA. Same with 2024.11. also some old devices random fall out. Something that was not a problem before 2024.10.
Sorry about that. If we can't debug further with logs from 2024.9.x, there's no point in keeping this issue open.
@puddly Sorry that you can not fix this. Maybe some other with this problem can help you.
I can accept problem. but I can not have a system that takes months to repear, or if it get unstable.
If tuya products have problems with ZHA please inform about the problems. So people not get tuya products
For me it is simple. If it do not work find a system that work. Stable system is more important than a lot of opportunities. If z2m do not work I probably move to some other system.
I do not have the knowledge or time to fiddle with HA. I need something that works.
