The problem

I have two identical actions in an automation:

Action A

This action have the voice is like a human (unsettling)

This action have a normal google voice type

Both actions works good but the voice type from my google nest is different. Why?

You can delete files. You can also prepare a script, because it is sometimes useful. In HA you have a ready action: tts.clear_cache

A few weeks ago I also had a mess with voices. It turned out that HA changed the voice from Google Cloud to Google Translate in several automations. Why? I don't know. Just as I don't know why it only did it in a few automations. However, since 2024.10 there has been a problem with TTS from Google Cloud in general and unfortunately they didn't fix it in 2024.10.1.

Hello, i have emptyed the cache but now both Actions have the human voice i want the old voice.

For 20024.10.0 i know but for me with the 2024.10.1 the problem related to error playing Is solved

Search for information, but there was an update to Google Cloud voices in September. Or maybe you just need to check if you have the right voice selected/defined.

Well, I still have a problem with TTS within GC in 2024.10.1. Besides, the changelog doesn't seem to say anything about "fix tts google cloud". But there is a lot about NYT Games. Priorities ;-P
