Generally, in 2024.10 (and unfortunately it was not fixed in 2024.10.1) they broke something with Google Cloud TTS.

I'm not using Google cloud. TTS for other speakers (except Unifi camera speakers) is working

I did find out that media_play.play_media is not supporting unifi speakers anymore. Why?

I have to correct this a little bit. Unify speakers for G4 instant is working. Only Unifi Doorbell is not working

EDIT 2: I just updated Protect to 5.0.45. TTS is working now again as before

I cannot get any media and TTS to play to any unifi speakers now , I just upgraded to Protect to 5.0.45 vis script, and via dev tools HA says is played but nothing from speakers (I do see UDP to port 7004 to cameras but they are just not playing it now it seems) I'm using 2024.9.2 so I will try to update to .10 @canedje you seem to be working on that , but where did you see and why is media play not supported anymore?

Hi, does the problem still exist? I just tested it with a G3 Instant, apart from the manageable quality, the whole thing works flawlessly for me
