WLED integration failed after upgrading HA 2024.9.1

Open ffurious01 opened this issue 1 year ago • 10 comments

The problem

I just upgraded to HA Core to 9.1 and WLED running on version 0.14.4 and the WLED integration not working.

I tried to delete the integration and try to add the integration again. When I enter the IP of the WLED, the system is saying “Unknown error occurred”.

The system log shows the following error: “orjson.JSONDecodeError: Input is a zero-length, empty document: line 1 column 1 (char 0)”

Both HA and WLED are running on the same subnet. I can directly access and operate WLED with no issues, just unable to integrate with HA.

Please help.

Thanks,

Same Here. In the last Home Assistant update 2024.9.1

Configuration error, will try again: Invalid response from API: Unsupported firmware version 0.14.0-b1. Minimum required version is 0.14.0. Please update your WLED device

I can't update the wled product in Home Assistant and also in the ip configuration so I hope you can fix it asap, its maybe because is a beta release but in previous HA updates works. It's a weld 16x16 matrix and with command line via IP I can send images well but I lost a lot of functions. Thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem. My Athom wled controllers were not working after update. I deleted them and tried to input the IP and get a "unknown error code" error.

Gameworden avatar Sep 16 '24 18:09 Gameworden

Same problem with Hyperspace hypercubes. 404 response from API. Problem isn't present in Core 2024.7.4

Same issue Anyone resolved already?

So I found the problem in my case. Most of my controllers are older 8266's running a SR version. I hade to upgrade to 32's to get the sound reactive I had before with the updated version of WLED.

price1979 avatar Sep 29 '24 17:09 price1979

All my Dig-2-Go's are not working. I have upgraded the WLED SR devices to the most up-to-date version WLED SR 0.13.4. Any way to resolve this issue?

Hey all! I faced the same issue with my wled-based device from Intellect. So I created a HACS custom integration with an older version of the WLED integration code https://github.com/kravchenkodev/ha-wled-legacy

kravchenkodev avatar Oct 19 '24 13:10 kravchenkodev

Hello, Have the same problem here since HA version 2024.10.x and I have WLed version 0.15.0-b5

When I try to re-add the integration it returns the error message "Unknown error occurred”. I do see the follow errors in my logs when I restart Home Assistant.

Can only say that ever since a month of two after an update as so many here there is no connection whatsoever with my WLEDs. Error same as show above so adding mine will not help anyone further. Would love to hear if there is an update. WLED version is V0.14.0=b15.21 "LUPO"

basically, i hav the same issue - running latest stable WLED and latest HA (Core + OS).
