Can you access the WebUI of your powerwall? And what is the software version of your powerwall?

jrester avatar Jun 13 '24 17:06 jrester

Oh it's working again – I just had to restart a mesh WiFi node and that fixed it!

How weird ... maybe whatever problem this is can be fixed by resetting / restarting / reestablishing the router / network connection? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks!

Interesting, so I restarted the powerwall, nothing, home assistant, nothing, the server it was running on and its working again. So not sure what caused that, all the other integrations were working fine and I could access home assistant off my phone so networking wasn't down.. very weird, anyway issue "resolved?"

Glad to hear yours is also working again @witchdrash, and in an equally mysterious way!! 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏼

Quite interesting, but this is not the first time that this weird behavior was observed. It was already report here https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/104599 and here https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/110536#issuecomment-2094132336. Do you know if your powerwall performed a software update, when the issue arose?

jrester avatar Jun 15 '24 12:06 jrester

Hmm I'm not sure ... is there a way of telling when it performed a software update? The PowerWall is running 24.4.0 0fe780c9 at the moment ...

I occasionally have this kind of issue when I do a restart on my HA device - I recall seeing login errors on a log somewhere but can't see any now (possibly not that strange, given my PW integration is working fine right now anyway). But it comes back possibly 1 in every 5 restarts like when I do a version update, will stay offline for a random length of time, sometimes an hour sometimes in the 12-24 hrs mark. If my memory serves, it was an authentication issue I was seeing, something like a too frequent call being made. I'll remember to search next time I see that and report back
