~Seems to be a duplicate of https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/87432?~ ← In this case the connection does not self-heal.

In your log I see some template issues, but it seems the HomeWizard integration has not issues. (Finished fetching homewizard data in 0.243 seconds (success: True))

The error Timeout occurred while connecting to the HomeWizard Energy device is triggered when the device is unreachable for that call. 58% is 'not really good', which may cause this.

Please try to improve this connection, if this does not solve the issue or if you are really sure this issue is caused by the HomeWizard integration then we could continue the investigation ;)

The exact same, or something similar? Please give some extra details if possible 😉

The exact same issue in the logs. It occurred 1 time. I have only one p1 meter.

'Works with home assistant ' Googled for a minute and see messages about this error even in 2022!

@DCSBL exact same issue here. I am 100% sure it is the api either on this end, or a bad api on homewizards end. Definitely not a connection issue. Happens sometimes after home assistant restarts until i reset the device or sometimes until i change the ip address.

But here is the kicker. Throughout all of the issues, the homewizard app itself works flawlessly without any lag with live data. Also my ap's show healthy connection stats to the p1 meter non stop.

After a hard restart of HA, I got the same problem. Unplugged and plugged the homewizard (P1) and it started to work again.

Closing this as I am pretty sure this all is a duplicate of https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/87432
