Reflashed Merkury device is detected twice (ESPHome and Tuya)

The problem

After using tuya-cloudcutter, and reflashing a series of Merkury light bulbs to add to HA, once connected the bulb is detected both as an ESPHome Device and as a Tuya integration.

The Tuya aspect of the bulb should have been completely replaced with ESPHome. My only thought is that the detection of a Tuya device must have been done using MAC address prefix.

If the Tuya device detection is based on MAC, I suppose I can just ignore the incorrect device detection. But it would be better to try and avoid the false positive detection.
