Same. No longer working for me. Hopefully the duplicate link has a solution.

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. Please make sure to update to the latest Home Assistant version and check if that solves the issue. Let us know if that works for you by adding a comment 👍 This issue has now been marked as stale and will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.

Does anyone know if this is working again?

Does anyone know if this is working again?

I have gotten it to work intermittently by a "reload" of the integration. It would last a few days. Sometimes even reload would not work.

THIS JUST CAME THROUGH ON SMT SITE: "SMT plans to deploy an upgrade that will require an Outage of all SMT services including the portal from Saturday February 10, 12:01 A.M. CST until Sunday February11, 10:30 P.M. CST. This should be a seamless upgrade to Smart Meter Texas users. If you have additional questions, please contact SMT website technical support at 1-844-217-8595" 🤞

Just updated to latest code and I still can't connect to SMT. I have reloaded and nothing connects.

Mine stopped working on February 10, 2024 - I can log into the website and my credentials still work. I tried to repair the configuration and ended up removing it and re-adding. Still no luck. I first set this up on January 25th and it ran well for a couple of days and then I see 6-7 hourly reads missing each day until it stopped on 2/10/2024.

Likewise have not had access to SMT through HA. I can login throught the SMT webiste ok. But in my attempt to git it going I removed the Integration. Then tried to set it up again and when I enter my credentials for SMT it comes back with "Failed to Connect".

SMT had an upgrade the weekend of Feb 10. I noticed mine stopped working then. Maybe some of the API endpoints changed?

It is great to know that they did an upgrade @cpreecs - an someone look into what happened and get this back online?

Not sure how long it's been there, but the SMT web portal has a new "Manage Subscriptions" menu header on the left. Inside is an option to enable 15min Usage Data, Daily Meter Reads, or Monthly billing data. This is all new features that were not available roughly a year ago.

These API's appear to require a special approval process, and it doesn't look simple. According to SMT, for Residential users: "A minimum of one static IP will be required to interface with SMT". There's also a bunch of other stuff, all listed in the Interface Guide: https://www.smartmetertexas.com/commonapi/gethelpguide/help-guides/Smart_Meter_Texas_Interface_Guide.pdf

At this point I'm seriously considering just attaching a reed switch to the meter.
