Add documentation about the best model for CM5

Open mhalano opened this issue 6 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the issue you are experiencing

Recently Nabu Casa started selling a Home Assistant Yellow with CM5. For CM4 the default model is tiny-int8, but there is no information in the documentation, at least I couldn't find, what would be the best model for a CM5 module. I don't know though if the recommendation should change between how much RAM the device has. I think we need some kind of benchmark to compare time of response and accuracy.

What type of installation are you running?

Home Assistant OS

Which operating system are you running on?

Home Assistant Operating System

Which add-on are you reporting an issue with?

Whisper

What is the version of the add-on?

2.5.0

Steps to reproduce the issue

This is more related to documentation, I think.

Anything in the Supervisor logs that might be useful for us?

Anything in the add-on logs that might be useful for us?

Additional information

I think it's just necessary run some benchmarks with more models and select one the best suit CM5 the same way it was done to CM4 (tiny-int8).
