Rollback to Matter Server Addon V5.0.4 is my current fix
This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.
I don't know why nobody mentioned this and I am also a little bit ashamed that I didn't see it right away. Solution: Enable Websocket access: Matter Server Addon -> Configuration -> [at the bottom] Network -> enable Port and type in e.g. 5580
Now I can commission Matter Thread Devices without resetting the Google Play Services everytime my thread network changes (development thread networks).
