PSX Support?

Hi,

What a great project!! I wonder if a port to the Playstation 1 would also be possible? Conversion directly from the digital video signal before the video DAC.

PSX has 8 bits per color. You might have luck if #104 is done.

here is a pdf of the DAC, it is not a fine pinned chip so a layon/over pcb could be possible. http://wiki.psxdev.ru/images/4/4e/MC141685FT.pdf. i could probably design a small board, not sure if the pi would have enough IO's

The way I see is that you would have a Parallel to CSI adapter like TC358746 and then feed the output into camera slot? Or you mean there might be enough to feed directly?
