File dialog crashes on Windows when browsing to a directory shortcut

Version: 1.6.2 Operating System: Windows 10 64bits, Windows 7 64bits

When using the file dialog under Windows, browsing to a directory shorcut (ie. My Documents) will cause an immediate crash to desktop without any error message under Win10, or an msvcp crash dialog under Win7.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open a file dialog (can be the one in the built-in demo)
2. Browse to a directory shortcut, the script will crash immediately
