Plot zoom in laptop without mouse

I found it is hard to zoom x axis or y axis in a laptop without mouse. Maybe it would be better to add an option to change Right Click & Drag: to zoom to an area like pyqtgraph

Right button drag: Scales the scene. Dragging left/right scales horizontally; dragging up/down scales vertically (although some scenes will have their x/y scales locked together). If there are x/y axes visible in the scene, then right-dragging over the axis will _only_ affect that axis.

I found a solution to this on my laptop by enabling/using gestures on the trackpad.

Spread and pinch vertically with the pointer on Y axis to zoom in and out in Y. Spread and pinch horizontally with the pointer on X axis to zoom in and out in X. Use pinch zoom like on a smartphone with pointer in the chart area zooms in and out on both axes.

This is still absolutely a thing. But it actually just works great, but not the way you are used to it. Normally you would zoom in by spreading your fingers, but with dpg you hold your fingers together and moving up zooms in, and moving down is zooming out. And if you hover on the highlighted axes you zoom only for that axis.
