User story

Users who run experiments may want to add notes to experiments they create to improve finding, differentiation and understanding of experiments later.

Users who inspect their own (and other) experiments may want to add a note as well, and maybe an additional status which can be displayed in the experiment list.

Solution

Experiment setup form should include a text area to enter a note which should be stored with the experiment data.

Experiment result page should include a way to add a note or a comment.

This sounds like comments are bound to users. Should they be visible for other users as well?

In a simple case, it can be just additional field in experiment setup form and be displayed to everyone who can see the experiment.
