Can I animate dropdown with animation libraries?

I want to have ability to style dropdown with animations. Is it possible? Currently doesn't work as I cannot change views in renderDropdown func.

I'll probably end up just creating my own fork of this library to work around this for the dropdown component.

The contributors/owners haven't reviewed this issue and PR. Not sure if there's more needed here. Followed the contribution steps.
