Before https://github.com/pgf-tikz/pgf/commit/65da52fd74426af68a42dcf5bffacf0aec209a1a there were no shadings in the CMYK colorspace. They were all RGB.

As a workaround you can switch to `rgb` before declaring the shading and switch back to `cmyk` after, but that will of course put an RGB shading in your document...

I don't think this will work properly when the page direction changes mid-document. Actually I'd like to see a refactor of `\pgfpageslogicalpageoptions` that takes multiple arguments for the different page...
