Bridges and Tunels example need pylab import

Open bdkauff opened this issue 12 years ago • 3 comments

Most code-blocks/statements referencing an external library (mlab, matplot) in the example notebook wouldn't run without an import of pylab. I created a cell at the top with the following

 from pylab import *

which fixed it. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem...

Good to note! This requirement has to be explicit depending on your ipython notebook setup.

Got it. Can it be changed in ipython notebook settings?

My fix in fact did nothing! The actual fix is running the .ipynb file with the pylab inline ending as such:

-ipython notebook Lesson0_bridges_and_tunnels --pylab=inline

Sorry for the confusion!
