Paste Support Command.zip

Describe the bug

This is one of my commands, which is set to a global hotkey of Ctrl + Alt + V, as I use this a lot. This command and others with similar formatting take between 5-10 seconds to execute.

copyq: var otext = str(clipboard()) var text = str(otext) + str('?support=true') text = text.replace(' ', '') copy(text) paste() copy(otext)

This has always been a little slow, however when my computer updated to Windows 11, this seems to have gotten significantly worse.

To Reproduce

  1. Copy some text, like Bing.com.
  2. In a new browser window, click in the URL bar and press the global hotkey, Control + Alt + V.
  3. 5-7 seconds later bing.com?support=true will be pasted.

Expected behavior

I am not sure what an expected delay is from starting a command with CopyQ, however 5-7 seconds seems longer than necessary.

Screenshots

I'm sorry it's hard to take screenshots, as the CopyQ windows turn blank when I try to screenshot them. I've recreated the Process Manager information Below:

ID Name Status Started Finished Time (Seconds)

Version, OS and Environment

  • Application Version: Upgraded from 9.10 to 13.00, still reproducible.
  • OS: Windows 11 Enterprise, Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631
  • Desktop environment, window manager: Windows
  • Installation method: Windows exe Installer

I'm also experiencing about that much of a delay for show/hide on Windows 11 24H2 (OS Build 26100.6899). It may relate to Purvue as this is a work machine. CopyQ is unusable now as it essentially feels like it keeps 'freezing'.

Is that what it feels like to you @Snowy556 ?

I'm not sure, if I open the process manager, I can see the process open right as I press the keybind, it just takes the time before it pastes.

For me it's still quicker and easier than typing what I need, just a little annoying, but hey, squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?

I actually have a really interesting update to this bug. I normally have my CopyQ start with windows.

If CopyQ starts with windows, the commands take 5-10 seconds to execute.

If I quit and re-open CopyQ, the commands are almost instant.

Verified with another user who is on CopyQ V7-ish.
