Maybe icon is missing.

Can you update to the latest CopyQ version?

Can you check logs (F12 shortcut from the main window)?

I've submitted new package just now. Not sure when it will be available.

My guess is that this is some issue with the tray/notification area again.

CopyQ use Application Indicator or System Tray - in Ubuntu ?

CopyQ now uses the status notifier (https://freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/StatusNotifierItem/) implementation provided by KDE Frameworks: https://api.kde.org/frameworks/knotifications/html/classKStatusNotifierItem.html#details

I think it falls back to using the old system tray icon if the new protocol is not available.

And what version Qt it use ?

See copyq --version.

But I use Xubuntu (not KDE) - are there all required packages supported?

The icon should work in desktop environments that support the status notifier protocol. AFAIK it works in Gnome and KDE but it should work in other desktop environments too (fallback to old tray icon if needed).

Same issue after upgrading to Ubunty 22.04. I do not see any remedy in this thread. -CopyQ dropdown has disappeared from top bar -CopyQ now docked (and un-dockable) upon use

I turned off Weyland... nothing changed

I am seeing the same issue in Elementary OS with indicator-application.desktop installed. I tried adding a short delay in the startup and that didn't seem to help.
