Using groups from Sonos App

Hello Henning, I know that this is only a nice to have, but it would be nice, if we could use the groups configured in the sonos app. There you can setup groups and when you want to play a sonos radio for example, you can select the group name instead of the speakers. I don't know, how they store those groups, so I don't know if this is possible through the API, maybe this is only within the app. Regards, Rolf

Hi Rolf. That is an interesting feature. The group seems to be stored either in the SONOS cloud or on the SONOS speakers and not in the app. Why: I use the SONOS App on a tablet and smartphone and changes to the preset group show up on both devices.

Unfortunately I could not find and command in our self made documentation so I assume that this information is stored in the SONOS cloud.

Other libraries also don't have a solution for that (soco).
