macOS htop crashes after about a day `Unable to get kinfo_procs: Cannot allocate memory`

macOS Catalina 10.15.1

Homebrew htop v2.2.0_1. After a day or so of happily htop-ping, my htop halts with the error message:

$ htop
Unable to get kinfo_procs: Cannot allocate memory

no other message or odd behavior. My system has 64GB of memory, and most of it is "inactive" according to htop, so it's not physical memory I'm running out of.

I'm seeing the same behaviour, after a few hours: date && sudo htop; date Wed Nov 13 18:42:43 +08 2019 Password: Unable to get kinfo_procs: Cannot allocate memory Wed Nov 13 22:00:14 +08 2019

Same issue here. Happens quite frequent. Did recently upgrade to Catalina 10.15.2. Maybe that's related?
