This is because the bitcoin block does not exist yet and so the link to that block page will not exist

In this case, should it say "Next Bitcoin Block"? I recall we discussed early on this project that there was a reason why we should show "Next bitcoin block" as opposed to the next predicted block number, but I can't remember why
