Android graphics driver incompatibilities

An issue to collect reports of graphics driver issues on Android, because this is probably going to become a theme.

I have only had the opportunity to test on devices with Adreno so far.

Known working (mostly):

  • Nexus 5X (Adreno)

I have a user report that touchHLE's app picker is just a completely white screen on their phone, an Oppo A12. That has a PowerVR GPU. I don't know if it's a graphics problem, but I can only assume it is.

Apparently the app picker works on Huawei Nova 3e, which has a Mali GPU.

I'm not sure why you're asking, because we haven't had problems with the official Adreno drivers, and the Turnip drivers only support Vulkan, which touchHLE does not use.

I got it to work on a Galaxy A12 on the latest github build as of March 1st.

I'm not sure why you're asking, because we haven't had problems with the official Adreno drivers, and the Turnip drivers only support Vulkan, which touchHLE does not use.

I wouldn't recommend it anyway. Adreno Tools is completely useless on devices that doesn't use Qualcomm hardware and with Android 9 or older.
