Touchpad not working at all (UX410UA)

What is your laptop? Asus UX410UA Which version of macOS are you using? 10.14 Describe the problems I can't get the touchpad to work at all. Everything else is working as expected. Attach output from gen_debug

Additional info Laptop has an ELAN1200

Try the latest version of VoodooI2C

I have the same ELAN1200 These plugins for VoodooI2C.kext worked for me:

  • VoodooInput.kext
  • VoodooGPIO.kext
  • VoodooI2CHID.kext
  • VoodooI2CServices.kext

VoodooI2ELAN.kext is not required, as in windows the ELAN1200 is registered as HID.

I managed to get it working using the kext from this thread. Although it starts stuttering after a few minutes of usage, won't work after coming back from sleep and only basic gestures are supported.
