Settings toggle to disable infinite scroll.

I find that, with infinite scroll enabled, I spend too much time in the app. I like to just open HN and browse the front page, but with infinite scrolling, the front page never ends.

The HN website itself doesn't have infinite scrolling and only shows the top 30 stories. It'd be nice to have the ability to mimic this in Materialistic.

That's a quite unique request, but it's an easy change. I'll see what I can do.

Hello! Thanks for the amazing work put into Materialistic!

Any news in this request? I feel exactly like the original requester so a setting to stop infinite scrolling could make my experience so much better.

Keep up the good work! :)

Hey there. Thanks for your work on this app, I'm a happy daily user :)

I'd like to add here that I would also love this feature. The motivation is that it's very easy to fall into "doomscrolling" mode. It's just so easy to keep on scrolling and scrolling and scrolling. For any app that would optimize for "user engagement", limiting this would of course be an absolute anti-feature. But luckily this isn't the case here, and it would be a great feature to watch out for your users' digital wellbeing :+1:
