Is this just the disassembly of the "main" chip firmware?

Yes indeed, the disassembly of the keyboard firmware only. I suspect quite a few signatures would match if you apply them to the LED firmware. That should give you a head start if you want to have a look at it.

Ah, thanks! I was thinking of writing a custom one because the current one looks like it doesn't really support high frequency light changes. At least I can't seem to get it to work properly
