2.5.2 reports 262F on a MacPro3,1 running 10.8.5.

There's nothing we can do without more information. Which sensor reports 262°F ? It is constantly stuck at this value ? What do other apps doing the same job as smcFanControl report ?

(BTW : @hholtmann, I suggest creating a form that users reporting issues should follow. It would make triage easier IMHO)
