Bug: The "Show in dock" setting doesn't really work

Describe the bug After toggling the setting the app will not always disappear from the Dock, even if it does it will eventually reappear.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Got to settings
  2. Toggle "Show in dock" on then off

Expected behavior The app disappears from the Dock and stays gone.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: macOS 15.3, but any version I've tried
  • Version 2.1.1, and all previous I've tried

Interesting. How long does it take until it reappears? I'm unable to reproduce it on my machine (macOS 14.7)

It definitely after a reboot, and just now I fixed it, waited about 20 min, then opened it. It's now back in the dock.

Huh, strange. Does it get (temporarily) fixed by restarting Heynote?

I'll turn on that setting myself, and see if I can find a way to reproduce it.
