Hexchat randomly crashes

So since i upgraded from Ubuntu 22.04 to 23.10, i've been having hexchat crash a lil too often, i've ran hexchat as gdb to try find the error of why it's crashing, and the cause seems to "usually" be when i drag the channel list part(screenshot attached), and here's the console logs/errors provided by gdb:

[Thread 0x7fffedbfb6c0 (LWP 22935) exited] [Thread 0x7fffee3fc6c0 (LWP 22936) exited] [Thread 0x7fffcf9e36c0 (LWP 22937) exited]

Thread 1 "hexchat" received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x00007ffff7db2c41 in g_type_check_instance_is_fundamentally_a () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgobject-2.0.so.0

Just opened hexchat again, and it immeditately crashed(i'm not sure of the cause besides the console logs/error in gdb) [Detaching after fork from child process 23036] The program 'hexchat' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. (Details: serial 3868 error_code 3 request_code 38 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) [Thread 0x7fffeebfd6c0 (LWP 23033) exited] [Thread 0x7fffefbff6c0 (LWP 23019) exited] [Thread 0x7ffff59346c0 (LWP 23018) exited] [Thread 0x7ffff50246c0 (LWP 23017) exited] [Thread 0x7ffff5fd94c0 (LWP 23011) exited] [Thread 0x7fffef3fe6c0 (LWP 23020) exited] [New process 23011] [Inferior 1 (process 23011) exited with code 01] (gdb) I'm pretty sure it's the cause of some GTK issue and not hexchat, but i'd like to maybe find more information on why it's crashing and maybe for a fix. cheers
